Campaign remains close

Tancredo leads Robertson by 2.7%. Ditka in third, trailing by 4.6%

The 2036 Presidential Campaign remains a close race. Abraham Tancredo leads by only a 2.7% margin over Paul Robertson. Jesse Ditka is still in the race, only 4.6% behind the lead in the popular vote.

Tancredo made an impresive move, up 1.8% from last week. Ditka and Robertson both lost ground, down -0.8% and -0.9% respectively.

Abraham Tancredo has locked up the most electorial votes, 134, with decisive leads in 10 states, including the key state of California. Paul Robertson has secured the second most electorial votes, 72, with decisive leads in 5 states, by winning 5 states, including Oregon and Washington. Jesse Ditka currently does not have a significant lead in any state.

Illinois, Colorado and Ohio are shaping up to be key battle ground states. Govenor Tancredo is edging out Mr. Ditka by only 2.9% in Illinois.Colorado is a toss up between Govenor Tancredo and Paul Robertson. Tancredo is edging out Paul Robertson by just 1.8% in Ohio.

Trading with the Bible Belt is a touchy issue. It would help business, to be sure, but would it hurt purity? The presidential candidates weighed in.

"The best way to convert those in the Bible Belt is to let them see what we accomplished," Abraham Tancredo said. "Trade has the possibility to open all of our minds to new things and through trade, we may show them that Islam is the righteous and true path."

"We are two separate nations, and trading with people so diametrically opposed to what we believe in will not strengthen this nation," Paul Robertson said.

"Brothers and sisters, I cannot believe that anyone would think that we should open up relations with Bible Belt," Jesse Ditka said. "Further, I think that we should direct State Security to concentrate on cracking down on the black market that's emerged in fuel and technology products between our great nation and the Bible Belt."
